Windows Logon As Monitor Template
The Windows Logon As Monitor Template enables users to schedule verification of of account credentials as well as test Winodws Shares and WMI network protocol access. This template can be used in conjunction with a Template Summary Report to view Windows Shares and WMI access across an array of Windows machines.
How to configure the Windows Logon As Monitor Template:
- From the Menu Bar, select File | New. The Create New Object View displays.
- From the Create New Object View, expand Templates | Windows Monitors then select Windows Logon As Monitor. The New Template Properties View displays.
- The Template Properties view contains 4 tabs.

The Options Tab
- Use the Windows server and workstation drop-down to select the target host you would like to test.
Note
Once selected, the server is automatically assigned to this template.
- Use the Override Default Credentials control group to override the Host's configured logon as credentials and service credentials, otherwise leave these fields blank.
- Use the Verify Windows Shares are accessible checkbox to query Windows Shares on each assigned host.
- Use the Verify WMI is accessible checkbox to verify the service is able to query for a list of Event Logs on each assigned host.
