Microsoft Teams Actions

Microsoft Teams Actions enable you to send messages to a Microsoft Teams Channel via an Incoming Webhook.
For more information see: Create Incoming Webhook

To create a Microsoft Teams Action

  • From the Menu Bar select File | New. The Create New Object View displays.
  • Select Alerts and Actions. The New Action view displays.
  • Use the Name text box to specify a unique name.
  • From the Type drop-down select Microsoft Teams.
  • Use the Incoming Webhook URL to specify the URL of your Microsoft Teams Channel Incoming Webhook.
  • Use Message text box to specify the message you would like to display.
Use the Variable Variable Button button to specify variables you would like to include in the message (e.g. {HOST}).
Important
If you specify {MESSAGE}, Server Manager automatically creates and formats the message metadata and content, otherwise, both the metadata and content are dropped and your message inserted.
