Wake On LAN Template
The Wake on LAN Template enables network administrators to schedule and on-demand broadcast the magic Wake on LAN packet to shoulder-tap assigned hosts and groups of hosts. Once broadcast, assigned hosts that have enabled Wake on LAN in their BIOS, are connected to the network and in low power mode, are woken up. This template is typically used by systems administrators that have multiple computers on their network that often go to sleep and need to woken up so they can be remotely managed by Corner Bowl Server Manager.
How to configure the Wake On LAN Template
- From the Menu Bar, select File | New. The Create New Object View displays.
- From the Create New Object View, expand Templates | Network and Application Monitors then select Wake on LAN. The New Template Properties View displays.
- The Template Properties view contains 2 tabs.
